Hokay

SO. I've done alot today actually, went to Wagamamas for lunch to have mad munch in celbration of Jake leaving Canters :p
Also did some revision (I know right? Shocking!), then rushed home to get ready to go to Studio 41 for girls and boys. And dispite having quite a few gay friends and liking gay people, being in there made me want to stab my own eyes out. With burning hot skewers, seriously it was rediculous. Seing as I wanted to go home early Alex very nicely walked me home with his gay as bumming bf (who is lovely btw, just GAY). Then it was Effies, tea, internet, bed, the usual run of things after a night out.

I'm going to the library tomorrow to do some more boss-like revising, need to be up early *BLEH*. No poem. Sorry.

Okies

I haven't written in the longest time and I am sorry about that (but it not like it really makes much difference anyway is it now?).

Its been pretty much like as usuall, me NOT revising and not doing much else either. Poem? I think so.

Damit, school has melted my brain, I can't think of anything... maybe I'll be on later once I've thought something up.

Dude.....

I did some revision today! *awesome face*

Not massive amounts but still, progress is being made :]

Had lunch with the lovely Emma, and then Tea at Tim's with Emma and sexy Alex (and of course Tim :]). We watched The Wicker Man (the original) and Emma and I had the shit scared out of us in the dark by Alex and Tim. Oh we screamed.

Turns out SOMEONE knows how to deepthroat. I was like *speachless* but in my head I was thinking 'duuuude...'. I enquired as to how thats done and was given some tips. I'll be practicing as soon as I get a chance ;)

In further news, I plan to do more revision tomorrow (yeah, try not to laugh). And in the evening I plan go clubbing with Emma and Jick. Alex is also comming for the first time in a long time (my dance partner has been returned to me :D).

Right bedtimes for me. If I get a sore throat at any point this week it is completly innocent, O.K?

As the pattern seems to go, it is time for a crappy soppy poem (funny rhymey poem is up next dw)

Life lasts but a season,
the laughter drifts away,
though your heart is broken,
your hurt, it too will fade

We plan to love forever
and though plans oft go wrong,
as starlight fades to morning
your pain will not stay long

As memories lose their glitter
and joy becomes your past,
remember this my darling,
all this is soon to pass

MOOO! :D

Did no revising (came very close though). But I DID go to Tea at Tim's and had Burger King with sexy Alex (they're restocked on burgers apparently).

So... POEM!

My brain is like that draw
that draw thats full of stuff
my brain is like that draw thats full of bits and bobs and fluff

My brain, it needs a rattle
the lobster ladel's stuck
I'ld like to find the corkscrew but it's trapped behind this muck

My kingdom for a fork I say!
This draw needs sorting out
I'm sure theres things I need in there, just rattling about

Anoia send your blessings!
I'll praise you everyday!
I don't WANT a mellon baller, could you get it out my way?

My brain, just like that draw
is over filled with surplus
and like that stupid draw, my brain is pretty worthless

The Burger King has temporarily misplaced his crown

Didn't do an awful lot today, my brain wasn't working all that well.

Alex came round to cheer me up :] Then Alex, Jake and I went to Burger King to get a burger. Only when we got there they were out of burgers? Ermmm, ok then.

Afterwards Jake and I went to Blockbusters where Jake got some DVDs and we got rained on on the way back to mine. I had neither the right shoes or hair for the weather both have dried out just fine :]

So yeah, not much really happened today. In order to pad this post out a little, and since poetry seems to be the thing to do right now I shall wow you all with another example of my extremely mediocre literary talent. Enjoy :]

End of Days

My love will last forever
our laugh will never fade
our hearts will stay together
until the end of days

Your kiss will ever linger
the words you used to say
I’ll see your smile forever
until the end of days

Your heart will beat as mine beats
pulse racing as we play
our hearts will beat together
until the end of days

My love will last forever
our memories never fade
we’ll stay in love together
until the end of days

Poem (or whatever)

I climbed into a box

and now I'm neither here nor there

I'm scared of getting out

just in case I dissapear.

Like Erwin's scaggy cat

I am dead and I'm alive

so I'm stuck here in this box

until Schrodinger arrives.

Issues in History is finally finished!

Whoot! :D

And just like that, a whole module for this year is over. I've now passed 1/6 of this course, only 5 more modules to do, that’s like hardly anything (NOT).

How embarrassing, I've resorted to what the Americans try to pass of as both humour and sarcasm. They wouldn't know what sarcasm was if it slapped them round the face; I've officially reached new lows.

I've been accused of using the words 'stress' and 'exams' far too much so those words won't be mentioned for the rest of this post (happy Jake?).

SO. Since I didn't get any sleep last night I went home around lunch time to have a nap then went to uni to meet Alex and Jake so we could go to dinner and see Angels and Demons.

Dinner was over-priced and mediocre and trying to pay the bill was one big maths fail. I should have done a Gordon Ramsey and sworn at the staff just for them to miraculously turn around and tell me how great I am and that I'm of course I'm right (I think maybe Gordon Ramsey brainwashes the people on his show to make them co-operate, would explain alot).

Angels and Demons was funny. I was facepalming at some parts due to bad science *shudder*. It wasn't even 'sonic screwdriver' type bad science because that’s a) from the future and b) unexplained in its working so that it wont piss people off too much with its ridiculousness. No, it was more along the lines of 'we've got a 85 million mega ton bomb we made using gravity but (despite all odds) won't blow you up if you're not in the same room when it goes off''. Like errr, WHUT?

However, I LOVE movies with people running around cities looking at old Catholic things, quoting long-forgotten pieces of dogma and using ultra sophisticated 300 year old mechanisms hidden in marble statues ect. Even though the whole idea of a) everything being in working condition, b) everything still being in the same place it was 300 years ago and c) the clues/secret passages/medieval lolcats not being found by torists or cleaners or renovators or maybe even a priest ages ago is ridiculous, once you accept those points then it becomes a fun movie to watch (pretty much like the National Treasure movies but with europeans and religion).

Then it was to mine for tea until Alex stepped outside claiming he 'may be some time' and never came back. Unfortunately this has already been done, with better style, by the famous British Explorer Robin Falcon Scott so marks have been deducted for originality.

Today

Good things about today:
Have pretty much finished my Issues in History bullshit
Ate party rings
Have come to the realisation that I will pass my American History module (with good grades)

Bad things about today:
Had a 'fat' day
Have arranged to meet my Issues in History group tomorrow
Was TIRED this morning
My lazy housemates haven't even bothered to put away their washing up. The washing up I did for them
It was cold out
I seem to be running low on happy
Need to revise but just wanna curl up at sleep (and its only quater to 9, you KNOW theres something wrong with me if I want to go to bed at quater to 9, its not even dark out)

Overall the bad things outweigh the good so I'm going to have to count this as a bad day.

ALTHOUGH, I saw Alex and Emma and Morgan gave me the best.hug.ever today so its not a complete write off.

Even if happiness forgets you a little bit, never completely forget about it.

Blah

I've reached that stage where I'm officially too stressed out to revise. But I shall over come it with obsessive organising! So I have (for the first time in my life) created a revision timetable. Two topics a day, four hours each (most likely split into 2 two hour blocks) every day from now tilll exams. Its making me want to cry.

I was planning to go out tomorrow unti I realised that I would have to study solidly with only an hours lunch break from 10am till 7pm, errrr FUCK THAT. So it looks like I'm not going out till Thursday. Which is for the best really, I'll save all the fun and what not till I've done my exams. Then I can drink to celebrate. Or comiserate, right now I'm too tired and scared to really care, I just want this all to be over.

NEW PHONE :D

I emailed my dad asking for money to get a new phone and he must have sensed the despration radiating from it cos he sent me £75 to get a new one :]
So I now have a new phone AND money to pay off my library fine so I can take books out without them sending evil german nazi ninjas after me. They're like regular ninjas but twice as efficiant, three times as anal and rude. And hairy.

My phone is broken

... and its ruining my life. I'm so stressed out I actually feel like throwing up (nice).

To do list:

Jakes bday surprise :]
Give Jake his bday surprise
Issues in History
Prob some more WW1 revision, I've started so I shall finish
Cry histerically due to too much uni related stress (I'm not 100% sure about that one though)

And if I have any spare time left, eat something, find cure for cancer, resurect Hitler in time for tea.

Lather, rinse and repeat

I FINALLY got some proper revision (well proper by my standards). A beautifully written timeline hanging on my wall pays testament to all my hard work. My memory is thoroughly jogged and even though I still have a shit load of revision to do I will now be able to do so quite easily. Now all I need to do is rinse and repeat as necessary, necessary in this case being another nine times 0_o

I'm actually going to fail my exams.

Jakes bday tomorrow, that should be pretty good :] I'm currently as broke as a joke so drinks at the pub in my case really isn't possible but I'll give him his presant and he will be greatful (its not optional) and that will just have to do. Plus I'm yet to vist a pub that serve grape drink so its not as if I'll be missing much :p

Nice

I had a really nice day today, I'm really quite happy. Even thought I got (accidentally) blown off for breakfast by Alex, my night in shining armour Jake (I know right?) came to my rescue and kept me company :]. Then Alex and I ate and did some shopping and revised, not quite in that order though. More like shop, eat, revise, shop eat. So a revision sandwhich :p

The Alex went home to revise and so did I only I decided to have a nap instead because dispite getting more sleep than usual I'm feeling chronically tired all the time. But I got off the phone with Emma and her and I may watch Mean Girls so by that point I will (hopefully) have woken up enough to do my Timeline then go back to sleep.

I feel like one of those sloths, if I don't start moving around more mold might start growing in my hair GROSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.

Reflections

Todays been a pretty awesome day all in all, I can't really complain. The Star Trek movie was just SO amazing, I almost cried with happiness at the end (I wish I was joking...). I would go into detail with various bits of Trekkie info but if you wanted that I'm sure you would look it up yourself as you clearly have access to the internet.

I think my problem is I'm just waaaayyy too stressed out, its just making me feel angry and/or tearfull all the time which would be bad enough at a normal time of the year let alone when everyone else I know is just as stressed out and tearful on account of bloody exams.

Times like this really makes me wonder why I choose to go to university, if it was up to me I would take a degree if faffing about and do fuck all with the rest of my life but apparently thats not a valid career option though in many peoples opinions it seems to rank higher then being a housewife. I personally want to be a housewife but obviously I can't do that until my boyfriend and I get married and since he's going to be uni for three or four years I might as well go too. Plus I have no way of knowing exactly how things are going to work out with me and him and having a way to support myself seems only wise.

But dispite being the prudent option I seriously do wonder if I have the... discipline required to finish my History degree (with a grade worth having). I'm pretty sure I have the intelligance required but I seem to suffer from a cronic inability to apply myself. Not really sure why if I'm honest. Part of me thinks its the whole 'you can't be dissapointed with yourself if you never really tried in the first place' thing but tbh even when I do really try I'm still dissapointed so its most likely the lazy cow gene kicking in, though who I inherited it from I have no idea.

I'm currently listening to The Blowers Daughter by Daimien Rice, that song makes me wanna cry, sad right?

What I really need to do is find a way to destress because when I'm stressed I can't work untill it reaches the stage where I will actually fail if I don't start doing some work but somehow I can't see that being an effective method for studying for university exams. Its weird because I enjoyed revising for my history A Levels *shrugs*. I'm thinking to buy some Kalms like I did last yeah even though they're probably just placebos I have a very effective imagination so they should continue to work on me just fine.

I actually wanted to scream at the top of my lungs when I was at Asda and smash up the whole store and just run wild, I'm pretty sure it would have made me feel better but I don't think the 55p I had in my purse would have covered the damages. I'm so poor its unreal, like late 80's special effects unreal.

Anyway, thats enough blabbering from me, night.

To do list:
Chill the fuck out
REVISE
Avoid going mental in the middle of Asdas
CHILL THE FUCK OUT

The Star Trek Movie Is The Best Movie Of All Time In The History OF Everything, Ever.

And yet shitty mood remains. At least I'm consistant?

My day so far

I woke up this morning thinking that today being Star Trek day, not much could ruin it for me. I should have known better than to jinx it for myself really.
I made the effort to get up, straighten my hair ect ect and get to my lecture, only to wait half an hour for my lecturerr not to turn up. Which surprisingly enough didn't piss me off, hay today it Star Trek day after all.
I got the results of one my essays back, 56% which is a 2:2. That did annoy me a little but I guess you reap what you sow and as I tend to sow shit essays I can't be surpised when I get... shit grades? Hmmm ok so that saying doesn't always translate exactly but you know what I mean.
Canteen had a decent roast on for lunch for once but I didn't really feel like eating it, probably just as well, its not as if I really need to eat a roast dinner for breakfast.

I'm currantly at home, going to organise my mountain of notes and maybe even read the,. then its back to uni for a revision sesion (I saw my lecturer for this sesion and she said she's going to be there, unlike some people), so all in all pretty good day.

HOW COULD I FORGET!?

Start Trek after uni :] Wow, you know I'm in a weird mood when even the thought of Star Trek doesn't do much to cheer me up

Exams = ARGH!!!

List of things Stephaine hates today:
Revising
Exams
Failing exams
Being tired
Being tired becasue shes trying (and failing spectacularly) to revise so she can avoid failing her exams

Its getting old, someone make it stop. Please?

Funny moods, apparently not so funny

I've been in a weird mood today, not 100% sure why. I think its a combination of exam-stress, housemate-stress and miscellaneous 'life is shit'-stress

The lovely Emma phoned me as I was busy thinking about getting ready to go to meet Alex for lunch saying she had lost her debit card and asking if I could look for it in my sitting room. Turns out she had it all along, silly sasuage.
She walked with me to uni her, Alex and I had a bite to eat, soon joined by Papa Tim as Alex and I were meant to meet him in town but didn't as I was running late (as per usual).
We didn't go to the Freemason Museum in the end but we did go to the Sidney Cooper Gallary to see the pictures some guy took of various quarries. Some of them were intresting, some of them were, well... pictures of quarries, I mean what do you want me to say?

We then found this lovely French resturant that had an outdoor eating area, Tim was in heaven because he could smoke and eat at the same time (not literally but you know what I mean).

BOOKED OUR SEATS FOR THE STAR TREK PREVIEWS!!!
(There arn't enough exclimation marks in the world to do that sentance justice but three's pushing it as it is so I'm going to have to leave it at that.) Alex has a lecture that finishes at 7 and from there we're going to the movie so we can get a good seat (it starts at 8). SO EXCITED! :D I have been waiting for theis movie for what feels like forever... I'm going to have to stop there because as a Trekkie I often find it difficult not to wax lyrical about how great and wonderful it is and if I get anymore into it I may not finish anytime soon.

SO. Had BBQ ribs in the canteen (oh so yummy and a decent portion size for once). Also met my lovely friend Jack, who we call Jick because he went to South Africa and does a pretty good accent. Jick, Alex and I had a nice sit in the sunny quad and watched the moorhen chicks on the pond which was nice. Alex said one of the chicks got stuck near the outflow pipe and had to be fished out *awwww* so cute :]

Anyway, we all went our separate ways to revise and after I've walked Jake to the chipshop to get some dinner thats exactly what I intened to do.

P.S. To Any Star Wars Fans: George 'Infranciside' Lucus is currently producing a live-action TV series of Star Wars. After the animated movie I honestly thought things couldn't get worse for you guys but apparently it can. So in order to show my condolences I shall LAUGH IN YOUR FACE, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. HA.

First!

Right, I was told by my housemates Alex, Emma and Jake) that we are all setting up blogs and I need to do the same so here I am. As I'm aware that they might at somepoint read this I'm not 100% sure what sort of stuff I'll right but I'm sure I'll think of something...

I was meant to be going to the Freemason's Museum today, and I distinctly remember telling Alex to call me to get me up and let me know what the plan is but alas, no phone call *sigh*. It doesn't matter too much anyway because I have work to do for my stupid Issues In History project (a project that funnily enough, I have alot of issues with...).

BUT I'm really really not feeling the work at the mo and I have done quite alot of it already so since most my work is done I may take most of a day off :p

And go see the Freemason's Museum. I wonder if you have to do a secret handshake to get in????
